Welcome! I'm Demetrice Simpson, part of the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) team here at Capitol Encore Academy. MTSS is a proactive and data-driven framework designed to support every student-academically, behaviorally, and emotionally-by providing the right level of support at the right time.

Through MTSS, we use a tiered approach to instruction and intervention:

"Tier 1 focuses on strong, research-based core instruction and universal strategies that benefit all students."
"Tier 2 provides targeted small group interventions for students who need a little more support."
Tier 3 offers intensive, individualized support for students with greater or more persisitent needs."
